In the "Officina delle Idee" (Workshop of Ideas), MIDJ's research and development department, the search for new solutions and the development of new models are in complete harmony with the designers' creativity, where ideas represent the core of the entire project. The idea meets Italian know-how within a true innovation lab. Here, creativity embraces production experience, and intuition challenges technology. Incessant research and experimentation, sometimes out-of-the-box, lead to exploring new paths in an exciting journey of challenges and attempts, of mistakes and successes. This is how the first prototypes of a chair, a table, a sideboard are born from a pencil sketch. In this place, one can afford the luxury of making mistakes, trying again, changing direction until creating a unique design product, experimenting with different techniques and materials during the process.
